For the past three weeks, Prof. Sanghoon Kim from the University of Ulsan has been a visiting scientist in our group. Sanghoon heads the Lab of Spin-Orbitronic Devices and is an expert in magnetic materials and how they can be combined into devices for fundamental scientific and technological applications.
During Sanghoon’s visit, we explored some of his group’s materials using an NV magnetometry scanning microscope, obtained beautiful results, and came up with new ideas for future projects. It was a pleasure to have Sanghoon in Dresden and we look forward to future collaborations and visits!
